Coming to Scala as a Rust Developer
Having recently started working in Scala after years of being a Rust developer, Gus noticed many similarities in the 2 languages. This made onboarding to the language easy, and made each design difference a curiosity worth exploring! This quick talk will talk about some of the overlap, and differences, between the two languages, and how that affects the experience working in them day to day.
